Why was my work declined?

A mohawk must be VISIBLE
Mohawks are visual- so we are not accepting any work that is not a visual art. A mohawk will be defined as a hairstyle in which the hair on the sides of the head are SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than the center. If the admins cannot tell that there is a mohawk on that head, the deviation will be rejected.

 Not clearly a mohawk
This is probably the biggest reason why I reject images- whether they be photos or drawings.  Sometimes I get deviations that could have a mohawk, but the fact that I am questioning if a hair style actually is a mohawk or not makes me reject it.  If I can't tell, then it's a no-go.  Images should be clearly mohawks- there shouldn't be any guessing.  This does not mean that they all have to be fanned or spiked... but it still has to look like a mohawk.  

No Anthros/Furries/Animals

 Unfinished-looking
Please only submit finished work here. No sketch dumps or poorly drafted artwork. I don't get many but I'd rather not see inbox spam of unfinished artwork.

  Poor quality
I reject poor scans, photos of drawings (if the details are hard to see, flash highlights in the center of the image, etc) super grainy photos and anything that is too small for the type of image that it is.

Artistic Intent
Please only submit your best/favorite shot from a photo shoot. This means ONE or TWO PHOTO PER SET. We do not want multiple images that look the SAME.
Snapshots and photos with no artistic merit will be declined.

Submit to the proper folder
Failure to comply will result in a verbal ass-kicking. If you really don't know where your deviation belongs, there are descriptions on the left hand side of each gallery folder page. If you STILL don't know, ask the admins.

NO RE-SUBMISSIONS!
Resubmitting rejected photos will result in people getting banned from the group. You get three strikes.

Deviations moved to storage will be removed from the gallery.

When your work is rejected, I will not be giving explanations unless you ask- so please refer to this blog entry (a link to it is on the main page).  If you feel that your work does not fit these scenarios, feel free to ask about it.
